Fully-restored 16th century Stone Farmhouse with Private Heated Pool
The house is situated in the commune of Saint Chamassy, in the very heart of the Périgord Noir, recognised as one of the world's most exceptional regions, famous for its scenic, historic and pre-historic interest.
Gillian and Ross McKenna, English and Australian respectively, have lived and worked in France for more than thirty years (university lecturing, then antiques), so know the people and their language more or less inside out.
Their aim is to help their guests craft their ideal holiday around a four-century-old farmhouse with a very special atmosphere, coaxed back to life from its ruined state by thirty years of patient and affectionate effort. It is a real pleasure for them to make their house available so that guests can enjoy a very peaceful, extremely comfortable and totally private holiday.
